About this colour

Concrete Ardesia is a near-black surface with strong movement and a neutral cast — it takes over whatever it is fitted into, so keep the rest of the scheme quiet It is a deliberate dark surface; plan the lighting before the layout.

Where it works

Industrial and minimal interiors, cafe counters, retail fit-outs, wall cladding.

Dark grounds show dust and water marks quickly; a honed finish hides them better than polished if that matters to the client.

Pressed, not quarried — so the pattern repeats from piece to piece, and a long run or a book-matched island can be specified without extra wastage.

Shade varies between batches and between screens. Before you commit a colour to a client, ask us for a physical sample — it is the only reliable reference.

Room scenes on this page are visualisations of this colour in a typical setting. The slab photograph is the reference for pattern and shade — the setting is there to show scale and how the surface reads in a room.
