About this colour

Carrara Pietra is a mid-tone surface with soft movement and a neutral cast — it reads as texture from across the room and as pattern up close It holds its tone under both daylight and warm artificial light.

Where it works

Kitchen worktops, bathroom floors, quiet residential joinery.

Mid greys are the most forgiving of seams and everyday marking, which is why they carry so much of the commercial work.

Pressed, not quarried — so the pattern repeats from piece to piece, and a long run or a book-matched island can be specified without extra wastage.

Shade varies between batches and between screens. Before you commit a colour to a client, ask us for a physical sample — it is the only reliable reference.

Room scenes on this page are visualisations of this colour in a typical setting. The slab photograph is the reference for pattern and shade — the setting is there to show scale and how the surface reads in a room.
